LIVING BEINGS

Living beings are classified into five groups:

THE FIVE KINGDOMS OF LIFE

1.ANIMALS:	They feed on other living beings.  They can move about. They can be seen with the naked eye.	VERTEBRATES They have a backbone. INVERTEBRATES They don´t  have a backbone
2. PLANTS:	They make their own food. They cannot move about. They can be seen with the naked eye.
3. PROTISTS:	They make their own food.  They live in water. They do not have roots, leaves or stems	ALGAE AMOEBA
4. MONERA:	They make their own food. They have one single cell They cannot be seen with the naked eye. Some bacteria can cause illnesses and  others can be very useful.
5. FUNGI	They feed on other living beings. They cannot move about. Some fungi can be seen with the naked eye.	MUSHROOMS  They are  shaped like an umbrella
		YEASTS: They are used to make bread, beer or wine Yeast experiment
		MOULDS:  These grow on  some types of  decaying food.
